Neo Mr. Do! - Neo Geo Conversion Project

Hello Everyone,

This project involves converting a Neo Mr. Do! MVS cartridge to NGH format. Why this game was never released for the home system is beyond my comprehension. Why? The game is a real gem.

The sacrifice cartridge that I used for  this conversion is a Art of Fighting 2 home cartridge. This SAC cartridge is easily found for cheap, especially the Japanese version! Don't worry, I did not harm a collectible version of Neo Mr. Do! ... No serial number, all identity had been lost. The chipset was legit! That can be hard to find since the game is one that was bootlegged quite a bit.

This is a straight forward conversion. Even though the SAC looks nothing like the origianl MVS boards it'll work out just fine. If you are looking for a more exact PCB match I've been told that World Heroes 2 is an exact match. I do not have the jumper setup for that one so you're on your own if you go that route.

The Details:

Remove the V, P, S, M, and C chips from the Sacrifice NGH boards.
Remove the V, P, S, M and C chips from the Neo Mr. Do! MVS cartridge. Place them in their corresponding locations on the sacrifice NGH boards.

The Insert and Label:

I created a custom insert and label for Neo Mr Do. I used snippets from the Japanese MVS flyer, several screen grabs, you get the point. I decided to go with a nice bright festive pink color, it looks smashing. The insert is designed to fit the old style case.
