Interact Hates Online Gamers

Frankly, I don't care what a person does with Interact's GameShark product in the privacy of their own home, disconnected from the rest of the world, as long as what they are doing is within the law, of course. But when an unwelcomed GameShark user enters the online gaming scene with their codes enabled that is crossing the line my friend. From what I've seen so far, these individuals are logging online to disrupt, chase others away, and sometimes apears to be the root cause of game server downtime. Are their ego's so weak and frail that they cannot stand to lose to a worthy adversary? Or is it that they are too lazy to become a good player and therefore feel compelled to ruin the online gaming experience for everyone? Or is it that they've come to expect all things without having to put forth any effort whatsoever?

Whatever their reasons, they are doing the online gaming community a great injustice. To some extent, I blame Interact for all of this. It seems to me that Interact could work out a technology with game publishers and the hardware manufacture that could aid the gamer in a way offline that could not be exploited in an online world. Why not cause the device to fail if a connection to the Internet is detected? In my opinion, Interact and these callous cheatmongers that dare call themselves gamers are destroying the very gaming environment that they themselves wanted.

It is quite disturbing to see folks cheat online. What's the point? Why cheat at Phantasy Star Online? Why attempt to rob another player when going head to head against them. Are these people so weak that the NEED help in order to win or get the highest score. It wasn't earned. What kind of statisfaction is that? Is it that important that they must resort to cheating in order to "look bad" or like some sort of "gaming hero." When I see such actions the only word that comes to my mind is PATHETIC.

If you are a person that cheats to win or to disrupt online then stop. You are hurting yourself and everyone else that is supporting the online scene. If you are a maker of a cheat device, come up with a workable solution. Stop ruining the online game experience.

Grrrrrrr....
